Utility Station

As part of ongoing infrastructure investments to increase the resiliency of water systems, a new pump station is planned on the city’s east side.  As an infrastructure project with specific technical challenges, integration of the facility within the residential neighborhood also poses architectural design challenges. InToto was asked to join the design team to develop sensitive exterior cladding strategies, considering materiality, scale, and the impact of the building on residents nearby. This technically challenging, environmentally impactful, and community-sensitive project embodies our “in-all” approach to design.
